Roman Baths of Upper Cividade
After having passed through Aveiro and Ponte de Lima, the
'Art-Map' is now in Braga. For this third edition, this national art project
launched a challenge to the participating artists so that, from a more
contemporary view, they portray the Baroque, a strongly creased style in the
city of Braga.
Madina Ziganshina, curator of this Arts Festival, said at the
inauguration of the show at the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva Library, that this
script was originally intended to integrate 50 exhibitors but, given the large
volume of artists competing and the increase of spaces Available to accommodate
these works, it was possible to raise the number to 80, corresponding to 270
different works.
The curator was particularly "happy" to bring this
script to the city of Braga, "one of the most beautiful cities in
Portugal".
